Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as refunds are not provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere.

Returns and Repairs

After delivery, please check your items carefully as faults must be reported within 7 days by sending an email to sales@justthethingfurniture.com Please ensure your email contains your name, contact number, item purchased, date purchased and fault. Photos of the fault should also be provided where possible.

Your original tax invoice is the best form of proof of purchase. Refunds are only available to the customer whose personal details are on the tax invoice.

A Just the Thing Furniture Warehouse staff member will contact you to discuss return or repair. This may include inspecting the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement.

Just the Thing Furniture Warehouse have the right to refuse service if a product is found to be soiled or in an unsanitary condition. Transport costs may apply.

Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond ours or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability.

Warranty

A warranty does not cover:

  • damage caused as a result of incorrect assembly
  • misuse, neglect or abuse of goods
  • damage caused from improper storage
  • any use of toxic cleaning products that are not specifically recommended for its type
  • fair wear and tear
  • fading of fabric, rips, wearing, pilling, surface dents, chips, scratches or accidental damage or breakages
  • discoloration of fabric coverings resulting from exposure to direct sunlight
  • comfort issues based on purchasing a mattress that is too soft or too firm
  • non-reported issues that have escalated from minor to major
  • transportation damage for goods picked up from our warehouse.
