Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as refunds are not provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection, or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere.

Returns and Repairs

After delivery, please check your items carefully as faults must be reported within 7 days by sending an email to sales@justthethingfurniture.com. Please ensure the email contains your name, contact number, item purchased, date purchased, invoice reference and fault. Photos of the fault should also be provided where possible.

Your original tax invoice is the best form of proof of purchase. Refunds are only available to the customer whose personal details are on the tax invoice.

A Just the Thing Furniture Warehouse staff member will contact you to discuss the issue. Proving the goods are in a clean, undamaged (except for fault) and sanitary condition, Just the Thing Furniture will liaise with the supplier to ascertain if the fault is deemed to be a manufacturing fault, and if so, make a decision regarding return, replacement or repair. This may include inspecting the goods or arranging for the goods to be repaired.

Just the Thing Furniture Warehouse have the right to refuse service or pick-up if a product is found to be soiled or in an unsanitary condition. Transport costs may apply.

Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond ours or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability.

Warranty

Warranty excludes:

·         damage caused as a result of incorrect assembly

·         product being abused, misused, dropped, crushed, or impacted with a hard surface

·         damage caused from improper storage

·         any use of toxic cleaning products that are not specifically recommended for its type

·         fair wear and tear including body indentation

·         soiled or burned

·         moisture ingress

·         commercial or medical use

·         fading of fabric, rips, wearing, pilling, surface dents, chips, scratches or accidental damage or breakages

·         discoloration of fabric coverings resulting from exposure to direct sunlight

·         product has been used outdoors (when not an outdoor product) or exposed to extreme heat or cold

·         comfort preference (selection is valid at the time of purchase and is not a valid reason for warranty replacement)

·         non-reported issues that have escalated from minor to major

·         transportation damage for goods picked up from our warehouse.


 

Warranty Procedure


·         Contact Just the Thing Furniture Warehouse as soon as there is a problem

·         Customer required to produce original proof of purchase

·         A Just the Thing Furniture Warehouse representative will call to discuss the issue

·         Providing the product is in a clean, undamaged (except for fault), and sanitary condition, Just the Thing Furniture Warehouse will liaise with the supplier and assess the problem to determine whether the product has failed due to a defect or due to general wear and tear

·         In circumstances where a repair, replacement or refund is required, Just the Thing Furniture Warehouse will determine an appropriate course of action based on how long the claimant has had the product and how the product has been used over its lifetime

·         Just the Thing Furniture Warehouse reserves the right to refuse service or pickup if the product is found to be in an unsanitary condition.
